Plain Jane Soap is an unscented soap made with 100% natural ingredients: Saponified Oils of (Lard, Olive, Coconut, Avocado, Grapeseed, Castor), Honey.
These bars are mild and can be used on the face, hands, and body. They lather well, gently clean, and are great for skin.
How to use Plain Jane Soap:
Use warm water to create a creamy lather in your hands, rag, sponge, loofah, etc… Massage your body, face (avoid eyes), or hands with the lather in circular motions. Rinse with water and pat dry.
Let the bar dry between uses. Keep it out of direct streams of water and standing water. I recommend using a ventilated soap dish or any type of soap-saver dish. This way, the soap is elevated, will drain and dry faster, and will last much longer.
*Due to the handmade nature of our products each bar of soap will be unique and slightly different from the listed picture.
First off I have heard my grandparents and parents talk about lard soap all my life but never had the opportunity to try it. When I saw this I wanted to see what it was like for myself. Don’t be put off by the name. It is great for your skin and cleans very well. Most of the younger generation has probably never even heard of lard soap. Do your skin a favor and give it a try.

I absolutely love Amanda’s soaps. I just added some bars of her natural lard soap, which are for use out in my workshop. These soaps clean even the worse grime, suds up really well and when you rinse you there is no soapy residue left over whatsoever. Another positive note is that these bars last very long, much longer than store-bought bars do. I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer. Truly special, natural products. Thank you so much.

This, along with a couple of other soaps, was gifted to me by my sweet daughter-in-law. The lard soap, and the others are wonderful. This one reminds me of my grandmothers soap, but hers wasn’t as moisturizing. I hope you keep this one on here.
