Revitalizing Skin Oil:

Ingredients for Revitalizing Skin Oil: Castor Oil, Baobab Oil, Black Seed Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil.

How to use Naked Blends Revitalizing Skin Oil:

I like to apply my Revitalizing Skin Oil at night, after a shower, but experiment and see what you like best.

After cleaning your skin, apply a thin layer of Revitalizing Oil and dab or pat the oil into your skin. You may also massage it into your skin. You can spot-treat areas or apply all over the body or face.

To apply to your face, put a couple of drops on your fingertips, rub the fingertips of both hands together, and pat them on your face evenly. Start with your cheeks, then your chin, forehead, nose, and neck. Then rub the oil into your face until completely covered. With time, you should need less and less oil.

What skin could benefit from Naked Blends Revitalizing Skin Oil:

  • Aging Skin
  • Dry/Dehydrated Skin
  • Patchy Rough Skin
  • Oily/Acne-Prone Skin
  • Sensitive/Damaged Skin
  • After Shaving
  • Any Skin You Choose!

If you use lotion, use this oil after applying the lotion, or the oil will act as a barrier and not allow the lotion to do its job.

*** IMPORTANT: Our goal with this product is to provide an all-natural skin oil made with wonderful ingredients and no harsh chemicals. Please note, that I cannot make claims on any of my products, due to them not being approved by the FDA. Therefore, I suggest you research the ingredients listed below and come to your own conclusion. However, I will include a small list of the benefits of each ingredient along with their comedogenic ratings. Anything 2 or below will not clog pores for MOST people.***

Castor Oil: This oil will help boost blood circulation. It contains vitamin E and ricinoleic fatty acid, two potent compounds with anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, it has antimicrobial, antioxidant, free radical scavenging, and wound-healing properties. Lab studies have shown that castor oil is effective against many types of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Out of all the staphylococcal bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus is considered the most dangerous and can cause mild to serious skin infections and other concerning staph infection symptoms.

Castor oil is a natural antibacterial agent and works to boost skin health. It also makes a great general skin moisturizer and anti-inflammatory blemish treatment. As it penetrates deep into the skin, it fights bacteria overgrowth that can clog pores, while softening and hydrating irritated skin at the same time. It fights off  Staphylococcus aureus, which is linked to the development of acne. It has a comedogenicity rating of 1, meaning it has a very slight chance of clogging the pores of MOST people.

Baobab Oil: A lightweight, super moisturizing, yet non-greasy, oil that works wonders for dry skin. Full of vitamin E, fatty acids, and antioxidants. Baobab oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and other fats, including palmitic acid, oleic acid, and linolenic acid. It also boosts collagen. The baobab plant is rich in vitamin C and is an excellent source of polyphenol antioxidants. Antioxidants, which include vitamin C, protect tissues from free radical damage, like UV radiation and pollution. By suppressing free radicals, antioxidants also reduce levels of inflammation. It also has a comedogenicity rating of 2, which means it has a moderately low risk of clogging pores for MOST people.

Black Seed Oil (Black Cumin) Oil (Nigella Sativa L.): Contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, which work to reduce clogged pores, control oil, and help fight acne and blemishes, as well as tame redness and soothe irritation. The main skin benefits of black seed oil are that it helps diminish fine lines, fights acne, unclogs pores, and helps fade dark spots. It is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. These include vitamins A, B, and C, which help the skin retain moisture, maintain elasticity, and fight the damaging free radicals that age you faster. Thanks to the healing properties of black seed oil, it is praised as a powerful eczema-fighter. One study found quick improvement in hand eczema among those who applied it topically twice a day for four weeks. It has a comedogenicity rating of 2, which means it has a moderately low risk of clogging pores for MOST people.

Rosehip Seed Oil: Rosehip oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. This oil helps brighten and even out the skin, regenerate and heal skin, and it helps with anti-aging, elasticity, and collagen production. Because it contains high concentrations of vitamins A, B, and E, rosehip oil is known for its exceptional regenerative and healing properties. With high levels of vitamin C, rosehip seed oil can help with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brighten skin, and help fight free radicals.

2015 study found that the use of rosehip oil on patients post-surgery improved the overall look of their scars. It contains linoleic acid, as well as other essential fatty acids, which makes rosehip oil a go-to for hydration. It is rich in vitamin E and anthocyanin—two ingredients that can calm and soothe irritation. It can be hugely beneficial for those dealing with inflammatory skin issues and acne-prone skin. It also has a comedogenicity rating of 1, meaning it has a very slight chance of clogging the pores of MOST people.

All-Natural Hair Oil:

Ingredients: Oils of Macadamia Nut, Almond, Sunflower, Baobab Oil, Grapeseed, Argan, Black Seed Oil, Castor, Vitamin E Oil, Geranium Essential Oil, and Rosemary Essential Oil.

What is All-Natural Hair Oil: An all-natural hair oil featuring Baobab Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, and Black Seed Oil for all hair types that works to fight unruly hair while leaving it with a residue-free finish.

When to use Naked Blends All-Natural Hair Oil:

  • When your hair feels super dry.
  • When the ends fan out.
  • When your hair feels dull.
  • When you have frizz.

Directions for Naked Blends All-Natural Hair Oil:

First, it is recommended that prior to applying oil to your hair or scalp, you do a patch test on your wrist. If all is well, then use it as you wish.

Secondly, use as little oil as possible until you learn how much your hair needs. Some like to use hair oils on wet hair and others use them on dry hair. If you do not intend to use a hairdryer or iron, you can definitely add this oil while your hair is still wet. On the other hand, if you have a blowout or use a curling iron or straightener, to prevent damage to your hair, wait until the heat process is complete before using the oil.

  1. After blow drying and styling hair, apply a couple of drops at a time to your fingertips, one drop per fingertip. Rub the fingertips of both hands together to spread the oil.
  2. Using your fingertips, gently rub or pat oil onto your hair, where needed.

You can use this oil daily if needed. If you recently dyed your hair, wait for at least two hair washes before using hair oil. You can also use this hair oil as a pre-shampoo hair oil.

Directions as a Pre-Shampoo:

  1. Apply a couple of drops at a time to your fingertips, one drop per fingertip. Rub your fingertips together to spread the oil.
  2. Massage the oil onto your scalp using your fingertips (not your nails) to ensure good blood circulation, covering the entire scalp. Spend at least 5 minutes massaging your scalp.
  3. Now, gently rub a small amount of oil onto your hair, especially the top layers that are exposed to the elements and the driest parts of your hair.
  4. Let the oil sit for at least 20 minutes, but an hour is best. You can also leave it on overnight with a shower cap covering your hair so the pillowcase doesn’t become oiled.
  5. When done, shampoo the oil out of your hair thoroughly and style your hair as normal.

If it is difficult to wash the oil from your hair, you have used too much. Try using less next time.

You can also pour the desired amount of shampoo into your hand, blend a few drops of our All-Natural Hair Oil with the shampoo, and shampoo as normal for silky smooth hair.

Please note, that I cannot make claims on any of my products, due to them not being approved by the FDA. Therefore, I will not make a claim of any kind about our hair oil. I will, however, provide you with a short list of the known benefits of each ingredient used within the hair oil. Please do your own research so you can come to your own conclusion. ***

Macadamia Nut Oil: A silky smooth, beautiful, fast-absorbing oil. Good for dry, damaged hair. Scalp hydrator and hair strengthener. Moisturizes boosts shine and regulates oil production. Rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Tames dry, frizzy hair. Macadamia oil penetrates hair more efficiently than some other oils. When macadamia oil binds to the hair shaft and infuses it with fatty acids, your hair follicles may be left stronger and healthier. Macadamia oil also contains antioxidants, which help hair to recover from environmental exposure to things like pollutants in the air.

Sunflower Oil: Penetrates hair shaft, locks in moisture, is rich in linoleic acid, antioxidants, and vitamins A, B, D, and E, provides slip, contains fatty acids, and is nourishing, and soothing.

Almond Oil: Almond oil is an emollient, meaning it can fill in gaps in your hair at a cellular level. That makes your hair feel smoother to the touch. The lubricating properties of nut oils, like almond oil, diminish friction during hair styling. Almond oil can make hair stronger and less prone to split ends because it works as a sealant, which means your hair growth won’t be slowed by losing hair that becomes damaged.

Almond oil helps smooth hair and helps it lie down in humid weather. Almond oil contains high amounts of vitamin E, which is a natural antioxidant. It also contains a substantial amount of vitamin B7, or biotin, which can help thicken and grow thinning hair, as it assists in follicle regrowth and keratin production.

Baobab Oil: A lightweight, super moisturizing, yet non-greasy, oil that works wonders for dry, fragile hair. Full of vitamin E, fatty acids, and antioxidants. It intensely moisturizes the hair and scalp, and it also penetrates the hair strands to heal and protect damaged hair. If you’re struggling with dryness, dullness, frizz, humidity, or damage, baobab oil can seriously help.

Baobab oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and other fats, including palmitic acid, oleic acid, and linolenic acid. It strengthens hair, fights frizz, smoothes and helps processed hair, and deeply hydrates. It also boosts hair growth and collagen.

The baobab plant is rich in vitamin C and is an excellent source of polyphenol antioxidants. Antioxidants, which include vitamin C, protect tissues from free radical damage, like UV radiation and pollution. By suppressing free radicals, antioxidants also reduce levels of inflammation.

Grapeseed Oil: A light oil that is jam-packed with antioxidants, and vitamin E, and perfect to use as a de-frizz oil and to seal the hair cuticle. This light and moisturizing hair oil works as a natural heat protectant, which is great for outdoorsy folks like me. Apply a bit throughout the hair before going outside to give your hair added shine and protection. This oil works great to strengthen each strand, increase manageability, and can also be used to combat dry scalp.

Argan Oil: This oil contains fatty acids and a lot of Vitamin E, which helps coat your hair to achieve that shiny look and prevent frizziness. It is easily absorbed and quite nourishing. For curly girls, argan oil helps with manageability and can also strengthen the hair.

Black Seed Oil: Contains antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories, hydrates, and strengthens hair. Can potentially improve scalp health. Contains linoleic acid (~50%) and oleic acid (~20%), arachidic acid, and behenic acid, both at about 1%, (all four great for hair growth).

Castor Oil: This oil will promote growth, and increase blood flow. It contains vitamin E and ricinoleic fatty acid, two potent compounds with anti-inflammatory properties, which support the health of our scalp and hair. Additionally, it can coat your strands in a protective lipid layer—reducing day-to-day physical wear.

Vitamin E Oil: Potent scalp antioxidant and hair hydrator. It will boost scalp health, stimulate hair growth, and increase hair strength. It is known to smooth dry, frizzy hair and add luster and shine to hair.

Geranium Essential Oil: Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antimicrobial. It can help smooth scalp wrinkles, work as an anti-acne agent, and combat dry skin. Geranium Essential Oil promotes hair growth, due to the oil’s sebum regulation combined with its ability to maintain secretions around your hair follicles.

Rosemary Essential Oil: This oil has been found to minimize oxidative stress at the hair follicle level and can provide emollients to the hair shaft to help reduce breakage, thus protecting the hair you already have. In fact, in one study, participants applied either rosemary oil or minoxidil (a popular over-the-counter hair loss medication) twice a day for six months. The rosemary oil worked just as well as minoxidil, which the researchers credited to the oil’s antioxidant properties. They also noted that rosemary oil may relax the vessels in the scalp, ultimately improving blood flow to the follicles.

Warning: Do not use Naked Blends All-Natural Hair Oil if you are allergic or sensitive to any of the ingredients listed. If you are concerned about sensitivity, test a small amount first. Keep out of reach of children. Not intended for internal use. For external use only. Do not use on broken skin, or open wounds, and do not ingest. Avoid eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water. If irritation, redness, or discomfort occurs discontinue use and consult a licensed health care practitioner.
