How to use Naked Blends Cinnamon Beard Balm:
Beard balm works excellent when paired with beard oil. If you’re using beard oil, apply it first. To learn how to use beard oil, please see our beard oil listing.
First and foremost, please apply the beard balm as desired, but for those of you who have never used beard balm, below are some basic directions.
After applying beard oil and letting it set for 5-10 minutes, use your fingernail to scratch out a pea-sized amount of beard balm (more or less depending on beard size). Work the beard balm into your palms, spreading it evenly throughout your hands and palms as it melts.
Apply beard balm to the front of the beard, to the back, and to your mustache if needed. Apply it to your beard in the desired shape, styling it as you go, and giving special attention to unruly beard hairs. You can use a brush if needed.
Unlike beard oil, beard balm is meant only for the beard, so do not add it to the skin beneath the beard. Doing so may cause acne, so make sure it is only applied to the beard. If you have excess beard balm on your hands, try rubbing it on your elbows, arms, knuckles, or anywhere that has dry skin. Our beard balms are scented with essential oils, so keep in mind that the scent will not be strong nor will it last all day.
Beard balm is not recommended for daily use. Over time, beeswax may build up in the hair. Only use beard balm on special occasions or for a short period of time while training your beard.
