Freshly cut, the bars are a pale tan, and they deepen to a rich brown as they cure. I trim every bar by hand so the edges feel smooth from the first wash. At 5.4 oz, this handmade soap bar is my biggest one, with a creamy lather for everyday hand and body washing.

The bars look pale in the video because they were just cut; this soap darkens to a rich brown as it cures. Is there real coffee or caffeine in this soap?

Why does this soap darken as it cures?
That is normal for this bar and for many other handmade soaps. When I first cut it, the soap is a pale tan, and over the curing weeks it deepens to the rich brown you see in the photos. The color change does not affect the soap, scent, or lather; it is just this fragrance settling in as the bars cure.
Is Espresso Soap vegan?
Yes. This vegan soap is made with olive, coconut, sunflower, and castor oils, plus fragrance and kaolin clay. There are no animal ingredients in it, and the full ingredient list is on this page.
How long will this bar last?
That depends on how many people are using it, whether it is for hands, the shower, or both, and how often it gets used. Letting the bar dry completely between uses, as described in the Care Tips, helps it last as long as possible.
How should I store it before I use it?
Keep spare bars in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight and humidity, where air can circulate. Use your oldest bars first.
Why do your soaps come in different shapes, sizes, and weights?
I cut and finish my soap batches by hand, and I like having different shape options in my shop, so I use a variety of styles. Some bars feature a crinkle cut, some have a textured high top, and others are molded into a square or a seasonal shape. Once a soap has a style, it keeps it: a crinkle cut soap is crinkle cut in every batch, and a square soap stays square. The exact size and weight for each soap are listed on its product page.

Okay, this might be one of my favorites. Creamy, sweet vanilla and espresso scented. It leaves my skin soft and no soapy residue like some store bought brands.
