How to use our Revive Shampoo Bar:

1. Thoroughly wet your hair. Make sure your hair is fully saturated with water—this is key to getting a good lather.
2. Wet the shampoo bar. Hold the bar under the water for 1-2 seconds to activate the surface.
3. Create a lather. Rub the bar between your wet hands to build up a rich lather, or gently rub the bar directly onto your scalp and hair. I like to start at the ends of my hair and work my way up in sections.
4. Massage the lather into your scalp and hair. Use your fingertips (not nails) to work it in, focusing on the scalp and any greasy or dirty areas, then pulling the suds through to the ends.
5. Rinse thoroughly. Make sure all the product is rinsed out to avoid buildup.
6. Follow with conditioner if needed. (Optional but recommended, especially for dry or damaged hair types.)
7. Store the bar properly. Keep the shampoo bar dry between uses—place on a draining soap dish or a shower rack to extend its life. Never leave the bar in standing water.

Pro Tip: Less is more. A few swipes of the bar is enough for most hair types. If you need more lather, try adding more water first, not more product. If that’s still not enough, then swipe the shampoo where needed.

More About the Ingredients in Our Revive Shampoo Bar:

• Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI): SCI is a naturally derived, gentle surfactant made from coconut oil. SCI = Coconut fatty acids + isethionic acid. The ingredient starts with coconut oil (or its fatty acids), but is then chemically altered to create a new compound that doesn’t naturally exist, therfore it is synthetic.
• Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa): SLSa is a naturally derived surfactant of vegetable origin. It is not the same thing as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). SLSa = Coconut-derived lauryl alcohol + sulfoacetic acid. It is chemically altered to create a new compound that doesn’t naturally exist, therfore it is synthetic.
• Rice Flour: Rice flour is a natural flour made from finely milled rice.
• Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB): CAPB is a naturally derived liquid surfactant made from coconut oil. CAPB = Coconut fatty acids + dimethylaminopropylamine (synthetic), therfore it is synthetic.
• Hydrolyzed Rice Protein: This is a natural protein made from rice that has been modified to make it water soluble.
• Jojoba Oil: A natural carrier oil that’s truthfully a liquid wax, pressed from the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis.
• Liquid Germall Plus: A synthetic paraben-free preservative! The pH of our shampoo bars is around 5.8, which is fantastic for hair, but the bars need a preservative to help prevent bacteria. Liquid Germall Plus is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial preservative that is made with 3 different synthetic ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate. It offers complete broad-spectrum preservation against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and mold.
• Vitamin E MT-50: This natural plant-based ingredient is a full-spectrum antioxidant blend that contains a mix of tocopherols, including d-alpha, d-beta, d-gamma, and d-delta tocopherols.
