How to use our Revive Conditioner Bar:

1. Wash & Rinse Thoroughly: Wash and rinse your hair thoroughly. Make sure your hair is still fully saturated with warm water.
2. Warm the Bar in Your Hands: Rub the conditioner bar between your wet hands for a few seconds to soften it and activate the conditioning ingredients.
3. Apply the Bar Directly to Hair: Glide the bar along the length of your hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. You can also rub the bar directly onto your hair for more coverage.
4. Distribute Evenly: Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to spread the conditioner evenly through your hair.
5. Let It Sit for a Moment: Leave the conditioner on for 1–2 minutes to allow it to absorb and work its magic.
6. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse your hair well with warm water until the conditioner is completely rinsed out. You may also use our conditioner bars as a leave-on conditioner.
7. Dry and Style as Usual: Dry your hair and style as usual.

Pro tip: If certain areas require additional conditioner, apply it lightly to dry hair. Alternatively, wet the bar, rub it between your hands, and apply where needed.

Note: Our solid conditioner bars are made with lovely mango butter and oil, so they might get a bit soft during shipping when it’s very hot outside. No worries, though! If that happens, pop them in the fridge for a couple of hours to get them back to their nice, solid form. Enjoy!

• Mangifera Indica (Mango Butter) Seed Oil: Mango butter is a natural, rich, and creamy butter made from pressed mango seeds.
• Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil: Avocado oil is a natural liquid oil typically pressed from the flesh of the avocado, although some avocado oils state they are pressed from the seeds.
• Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (BTMS-25) (naturally derived synthetic): BTMS-25 is a cationic (positively charged) emulsifying wax that conditions and softens the hair and skin. Often used in natural hair products to detangle, reduce static, and improve manageability. It is made of two ingredients (Behentrimonium Methosulfate (25%) and Cetearyl Alcohol (75%). Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a quaternary ammonium salt derived from rapeseed oil (canola oil). It’s very mild and known for being non-irritating. Cetearyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol (not drying) made from natural sources like coconut or palm oil and acts as a thickener and stabilizer. BTMS-25 is a naturally derived synthetic, meaning it starts with natural materials (like rapeseed and palm oils) but is chemically modified. If you’re a purist aiming for 100% natural products (no synthetics, even if mild), BTMS-25 wouldn’t qualify. But in the clean beauty world, it’s often accepted in “naturally-inspired” or “green” formulations because of its low toxicity, biodegradability, and skin-friendly nature.
• Cetyl Alcohol: Cetyl alcohol (also known as hexadecan-1-ol) is a natural fatty alcohol commonly used as an emulsifier, thickener, and emollient. It helps stabilize formulations, improve texture, and provide a smooth, creamy consistency. Our Cetyl Alcohol is derived from RSPO Certified sustainable palm oil.
• Stearic Acid: Stearic acid is a natural, isolated fatty acid used as a thickener and hardener in lotions, salves, body butters, and more. It occurs naturally in butters like cocoa butter, shea butter, and kokum butter, as well as in some liquid oils like plum oil and sunflower oil.

• DL-Panthenol Powder (vitamin B5) (synthetic ingredient): Panthenol (vitamin B5) is the alcohol form of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). It’s a synthetic water-soluble, highly moisturizing ingredient used in skincare, haircare, and wound-healing products for its hydrating, soothing, and reparative properties.

• Optiphen (INCI: Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl glycol) (synthetic ingredient):  Optiphen is a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative system, which consists of Phenoxyethanol in an emollient base of Caprylyl Glycol. The combination of these ingredients provides optimized protection against microbial growth while imparting an exceptional feel to the finished product.
• Tocopherol (Vitamin E): Vitamin E is a natural, potent antioxidant that is beneficial for hair and skin. It’s a naturally occurring vitamin that can be found in many carrier oils.
• Essential Oils: Essential oils are natural. They are highly concentrated plant extracts obtained through distillation (steam, water, or cold pressing) from leaves, flowers, bark, roots, and other plant parts.
